Peel Castle

Peel Castle sits on St. Patrick’s Isle overlooking Peel Marina and is one of the Isle of Man's most popular tourist attractions. It was once home to Viking warriors and kings. Built by the Vikings in the 11th century, it remains an impressive feature on the Sunset City's coastline. While no longer used, you can walk through the ruins of the Castle's Cathedral and Round Tower plus there are extensive grounds to wander around with a picnic area.

The castle is open to the public from the beginning of April until the end of October. For more information and ticket prices, please see the Max National Heritage website.
