Waren Mill nestles within acres of woodland on the headland above Budle Bay Nature Reserve, with stunning coastal views of Holy Island and Bamburgh. Our family owned park is set within an exceptional natural environment and has superb facilities which means that you have everything that you need to have a completely self-sufficient break in an idyllic location. But if you do want to venture out, you really couldn’t be in a better location for exploring Northumberland’s coast and country.

The park itself has an idyllic location up on the headland above Budle Bay Nature Reserve with unbroken seaviews across to Holy Island, Bamburgh, and inland to the Cheviot Hills. The view of Bamburgh Castle from the vast sandy beach has to be one of the most iconic in Britain and it is unsurprising that this is such a popular location for film crews. But don’t forget to visit the Castle itself and the enthralling Grace Darling Museum in Bamburgh village too.

A short hop inland takes you to the bustling medieval market town of Alnwick and to some of the country’s top attractions, including Alnwick Castle, the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Alongside is the Duchess of Northumberland’s marvellous horticultural creation, the Alnwick Garden where you can dine amongst the treetops in one of the world’s largest tree houses, and enjoy the excitement of the Grand Cascade. A visit to nearby Howick Hall and Garden, the home of Earl Grey tea, is highly recommended for garden and tea lovers alike.

Gold 'Standard' (2 and 3 bedrooms) We are very proud to introduce our Gold (standard range) of exceptional holiday homes to you. With 2 and 3 bedroom homes available, all offering superb quality and facilities including en-suite shower rooms, gas central heating, double glazing, fully equipped kitchen, large flat screen TV and DVD. The homes can sleep between 6 persons (2 bedroom) to 8 persons (3 bedroom) comfortably and linen, towels and a complimentary welcome pack is provided upon arrival. Gold 'Deluxe' (2 and 3 bedrooms) You can expect the same exceptional standards and facilities, but our Gold Deluxe range enjoys absolutely prime locations. Some come with outlook doors and external balconies and decking. This range of caravan holiday home is often our newest addition to the park, is more spacious internally and carrying extra inventory to make your holiday that extra bit special. Easy Access Caravan Our easy access caravan holiday home offers the same high comfort as our other caravan holiday homes but is adapted to suit disabled persons and their carers. Accommodating full wheelchair movement throughout and providing a well equipped wet room. Touring & Camping Whether it’s on two wheels, four wheels or camping in its purest form, we have plenty of lovely fully serviced pitches for you and your caravan, motorhome or tent alike. Whatever your own personal favourite is, you can make the most of our spacious locations and facilities.

Bamburgh Castle Bamburgh Castle is filled with hundreds of years’ worth of dark tales, rebellion, myths, millionaire benefactors and more. There’s even evidence that people have lived here as far back as 10,000 BC. What more could you want?! Perched atop a volcanic outcrop, the castle has 14 public areas including the Clock Tower Tea Rooms and several grand State Rooms. Each one is packed with a veritable treasure trove of items to investigate with a guide or audio tour. NB. The State Rooms are not pram accessible so borrow or bring a baby carrier. Hear stories of visitors who’ve heard strange noises over the years, like babies crying or the sound of unseen footsteps... There’s even been word of people being touched by unseen hands. Eek!
Farne Islands The beautiful Farne Islands lie 2 to 3 miles off the Northumberland coast between the charming fishing village of Seahouses and the awesome Castle of Bamburgh. As well as being one of the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuaries in England there are also a large colony of Atlantic Seals regularly spotted here too! Join one of the numerous cruise trips held year round and explore this most glorious of archipelagos aboard Billy Shiels' fleet of seagoing motor vessels maintained to Marine Coastguard Agency standards.
Alnwick Castle Medieval knights, dragons, dressing up AND Harry Potter?! Alnwick Castle may very well be heaven on earth. The castle has a fantastically rich history which you’re welcome to explore with stateroom visits and exhibitions. Not only that but it’s played host to some pretty incredible film sets, like Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and kid’s favourite, Harry Potter! The resident witches and wizards roaming the grounds encourage visitors to get robed up and be part of the magic.
